Boxing Pay-Per-View Numbers released for Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De La Hoya

This past weekends fight in which Oscar De La Hoya lost by 8th round TKO to Manny Pacquiao has proven to be a hot item in terms of Pay-Per-View Sales. The numbers released are pretty amazing on their own and more so impressive if you take into account the global markets which are in turmpil these days.

HBO Sports has released information De La Hoya vs. Pacquiao generated a whopping 1.25 million buys. That translates to $70 million in PPV revenues.

These are early release numbers and HBO usually updates their PPV numbers as more information comes in from Broadcasting partners.

HBO will replay De La Hoya vs Pacquiao this coming Saturday. Check your local listings for start times.
