James Toney who is set to fight Fres Oquendo (29-4) this coming Saturday has made his views public on Oscar De La Hoya's 8th round TKO loss to Manny Pacquiao. Toney (70-6-3) who was quoted recently in the LA Times, dissed De La Hoya for quitting and looking like a "sissy".

Quoted by the LA Times, Toney feels De La Hoya should never have fought Pacquiao, stating: "Oscar's a good fighter, but he's fought too many times to be fighting a guy like Manny Pacquiao."

Toney went on to diss De La Hoya for the way the fight ended and the way De La Hoya looked. Quoted by the Publication, Toney stated: "Ending it like he did, sitting on the stool, he better come back and redeem himself. He looked like a little sissy. I've been beat up. I never quit."

Toney didn't stop there, drawing a comparision with Roberto Duran, Toney went on to add: "The Mexican fans who haven't liked him should love him now because he did what their favorite Roberto Duran did 26 years ago: 'No mas.' Oscar can't do that, or he's going to go down as a quitter."

Anyone interested in seeing a replay of Pacquiao's impressive victory over De La Hoya can do so by tuning into HBO this coming Saturday. HBO will be showing replays over the weekend. Check your local listings for start times.
