Pacquiao and Boxing #1 for Top 10 PPVs of '08 but UFC Dominates

With this year finally coming to a close, what is the top 10 Pay-Per-views of the year? Well the top spot is taken by this past Saturday's Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao.

Although the number one PPV was Boxing, it was the UFC that did well overall, notching 6 top Pay-Per-Views out of a possible 10. WrestleMania which featured Floyd Mayweather Jr. also did very well, taking 3rd place. Boxing didn't really do so hot. Only two PPV made the top 10 list for boxing.

Yahoo.com has published the top 10 PPV for 2008. Below you will find from first place to tenth place, the top 10 PPVs. Each listing tells you the date of the fight and the PPV numbers the event brought in.
