By Johnny Benz, Doghouse Boxing. Could father and son in Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Jr. be fixing to get back together in a fighter / trainer relationship? It looks like this could be the case. Although nothing is final, both Sr. and Jr. have acknowledged that they could be once again working together.

Mayweather Sr. speaking to Jenna Jay on her popular radio show "On the Ropes" for Doghouse Boxing, spoke out on the possibility of working again with his son. Mayweather Jr. speaking to FightHype also confirmed he was considering getting back together with his dad. Mayweather Jr. admits however there are still some issues to work out before anything is official and tells FightHype: "My Dad has to realize I'm an adult, you know. I just want my Dad to accept and respect me as an adult. I think my Dad, the thing is, he still looks at me as his 10-year-old son. I'm a lot closer to 40 than I am to 21, but I have a lot left in the tank and I want to go out there and give the fans nothing but excitement."
