After showing off an impressive victory against Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao is left with what could be some interesting choices in who he faces next. There has been plenty of speculation that a fight with Ricky Hatton, or Floyd Mayweather Jr. (should Mayweather come out of retirement) could be in the works next for Pacquiao.

Quoted recently in the Grand Rapids Press, when asked about a fight againt Mayweather Jr., Pacquiao stated: "Well, it's possible."

Pacquiao discussed what the fight depends on in order to make it happen. Pacquiao states it all depends on if his promoter, Bob Arum can strike a deal with Mayweather Jr's handlers. Pacquiao stated: "You know, it's possible to make happen, that fight. It depends on my promoter negotiating with other promoters."

There is no firm word that Mayweather Jr. will come out of retirement, but a lot of rumblings in the boxing world indicate that the former Pound for Pound King will return.
