Floyd Mayweather Jr is not the least bit interest in a tune-up bout and that is just one of the reasons he has signed the contract to face Shane Mosley on May 1st. The bout will be shown live on TV through HBO Pay-Per-View.

In regards to fighting Shane Mosley on May 1st, Mayweather through a release sent to us here at DoghouseBoxing, stated: "This one is definitely for the fans as I wasn't going to waste anyone's time with a meaningless tune-up bout and asked to fight Shane immediately."

Mayweather went on to state that he is only interested in fighting the best. "I have said ever since I came back to the sport that I only wanted to fight the best," stated Mayweather, adding: "I think Shane is one of the best, but come May 1, he still won't be great enough to beat me."
