There have been some reports by media that there is no strict drug testing happening for Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. vs Shane Mosley. However this is not the case. The fight is set for May 1st and many have questioned if "Money" Mayweather would demand Mosley go through the same type of drug testing that "Money" Mayweather wanted in the failed negotiations with Manny Pacquiao.
At Thursday's press conference in LA, "Money" Mayweather confirmed that both he and Mosley would undergo
random blood and urine tests for steroids and other illegal performance enhancing drugs.
At the event in regards to blood and urine testing for illegal steroids and performance enhancing drugs, "Money" Mayweather stated: "I want to change this sport. I want to make sure it is clean that is why Shane and I are both taking random urine and blood tests leading up to the fight."
