Manny Pacquiao singing is Sh!t? You can't be Freaking Serious! What about Mike Tyson? By Johnny Benz (March 17, 2010) Doghouse Boxing
It looks like Fans in Hawaii don't give a sh!t about Manny Pacquiao's singing. According to published reports, a Waikiki concert that Manny Pacquiao was headlining has been canceled due to poor ticket sales. I know what you are thinking... "How can this be?!" Alas my friends, apparently Boxers who moonlight as Singers... should not quit their day job.
According to reports, on Tuesday organizers officially scrapped the concert that was scheduled for Sunday because
ticket sales to the event were poor. Island Fire Productions said it hopes to renegotiate another concert appearance and will refund ticketholders.
Personally, you got to wonder why they thought a Pacquiao concert was a good idea. Now a Mike Tyson concert... that would sell. I mean have you ever seen Tyson singing Phil Collins... too freaking much...and yes, I would pay good dollar to see that live and in concert. I am not under the illusion that Tyson is a great singer... but entertaining as a singer... now that he is.
I mean, come on guys...Pacquiao the Singer! How far would your head need to be up Pacquiao's arse to actually enjoy his singing? Hey, I like and admire Pacquiao the Boxer, he is the man inside the ring... but all bets are off when you ask me what I think about his singing. I feel like stabbing my ear drums with rusty needles when I hear Pacquiao sing.
Provided on this page is both Mike Tyson and Manny Pacquiao videos that feature them singing. I warn you... its best to watch the Pacquiao video with the sound off... but keep in mind he is not the worse karaoke singer I have ever heard (but it is painful)... Lets just say that I, like the folks in Hawaii won't be rushing out to buy a ticket to one of his concerts anytime soon. I just am not that obsessed with Pacquiao to put my ear drums through the punishment. Now Tyson, that is just a guilty pleasure of mine. Yeah, I am laughing when I listen to him singing... but yet somehow there is some beautiful madness to the experience. (It's f@#king Funny!) The Tyson video is the trailer for the movie he was in, "The Hangover". *Warning, there is some swearing in the video.
