Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr. both went to the Hospital immediately after their fight on Saturday night in which Hopkins won by unanimous decision. Richard Schaefer, the CEO of Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, who represents Hopkins, confirmed that after that right after the fight Hopkins was taken to the Southern Hills Hospital to be observed by Doctors.

Hopkins complained after the fight that he was seeing spots in his vision from round 6 on. Hopkins stated that he
started having problems with his vision after Jones Jr. hit him behind the head.

John Wirt, CEO for Jones Jr's, Square Ring, Inc. confirmed that Jones Jr. also went to the Hospital to be checked by Doctors after the fight. Jones Jr. was also complaining about being hit behind the head during the match.

At this time it is believed that neither fighter has suffered any serious injury and that their Hospital visits are for cautionary reasons only. Doghouse Boxing will update you if there is anything wrong with either fighter's medical check-ups.
