Lennox Lewis gets some big recognition from Canada

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis is getting some big recognition from the country of Canada. This coming November, Lewis and a group of Canadian athletes will be inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.

Aside from Lewis, some of the names will also include, swimmer Nancy Garapick, speedskater Marc Gagnon,
1996 Olympic champion 4x100 relay team of Donovan Bailey, Bruny Surin, Robert Esmie and Glenroy Gilbert

Although Lewis was born in Britain, he came to Canada at the age of 12. Lewis won a Gold Medal for Canada in the 1988 Olympic games. After turning Pro, Lewis returned to the UK.
