Floyd Mayweather Jr. scored a knock out against a website using his name. Mayweather Jr. won a TRO in a federal cybersquatting lawsuit against the operators of a Web site using "floydmayeather.net" as a domain name without the approval of Mayweather Jr.

On Tuesday in Las Vegas, a U.S. District Court judge issued a temporary restraining order to stop "an entity of unknown origin." The entity called Atlanta Sports & Entertainment Marketing must now refrain from using
Mayweather Jr's name and likeness on the web site.

U.S. District Court Judge Philip Pro stated: "Mayweather has demonstrated that he will suffer irreparable harm."

Mayweather claims in his lawsuit that the domain user has no authority to profit from his fame or solicit $50 memberships for what the Web site says is Mayweather's "official" fan club.
