Timothy Bradley wants a fight with Ricky Hatton. Bradley feels Hatton could use a fight with him to gage his readiness for a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Quoted in the media, Bradley stated: "Though I'm no Floyd Mayweather Jr., how better could Hatton gage his readiness for a Mayweather Jr. rematch than against a young unbeaten fighter in his prime with very good speed and boxing skills in myself."

Bradley went on to add: "A fight between Hatton and I could be fought in England or U.S. as Ricky has a huge fan base that will follow him regardless of where he fights. I don't speak for my promoters Gary Shaw or Thompson boxing, I'm just giving my opinion as a fighter that I think the timing is right."
