It truly does seem Manny Pacquiao is itching for a fight with Oscar De La Hoya. Perhaps the only hurdle will be money as Pacquiao tells reporters on Wednesday that he'll fight if the price is right. The right price for Pacquiao is a split down the middle of the purse. Pacquiao wants no more and no less than what De la Hoya would make if the two faced one another.

Pacquiao told reporters Wednesday: "De La Hoya would be my most important foe ever; it’s one fight that I could say I have reached the peak of my career." Pacquiao went on to add: "But I only want fair fight terms, like prize purses."

If Pacquiao does score a fight with De La Hoya, he indicated that he would train with trainer Freddie Roach for at least 11 weeks in order to be in the best possible shape.
