Felix "Tito" Trinidad disses Bernard Hopkins and wants Oscar De La Hoya before Retirement

It appears Felix "Tito" Trinidad is ready to retire from boxing, but still plans to fight twice in 2009. In a recent article by Mark Vester of BoxingScene, Vester quotes Trinidad in regards to his upcoming plans, which includes possibly two more fights against two big names.

Translated from El Nuevo Dia, Vester quotes Trinidad in regards to his upcoming plans for next year. Trinidad not setting any of his plans in stone, stated: "I'll possibly have two more fights in 2009."

Trinidad really would love a rematch with Bernard Hopkins, but feels Hopkins is chicken to face him. In regards to wanting a fight with Hopkins, Trinidad dissed Hopkins for being afraid, stating: "I want to fight Hopkins, but he wont give me a rematch because he is afraid of me."

Trinidad wants his second bout to be a rematch against Oscar De La Hoya.
