Floyd Mayweather Jr. hands the I.R.S. Millions of Dollars

According to reports in the media, Floyd Mayweather Jr has agreed to pay the I.R.S. (the Internal Revenue Service) a whopping $5.6 million in owed back taxes.

Further according to reports, The agreement between Mayweather Jr. and the I.R.S. comes at a time where the IRS was about to get ready to take the money from his earnings from his bout on Saturday with Juan Manuel Marquez.

The I.R.S. did not have to step in and take such drastic actions because Mayweather's attorney indicated in the press that Mayweather Jr. settled all his debt. Mayweather's attorney also indicated that officials never intended to garnish Mayweather's purse.
