That's right folks! Manny Pacquiao was wrong! And that's the assessment Bob Arum (His promoter) is giving. If Pacquiao thought he'd get some peace and seclusion in his training camp in Baguio... he was wrong.
Baguio a summer resort which is set in a mountainous region in the Philippines, was chosen by Pacquiao not only because of it's elevation but also because Pacquiao believed it was a remote location that would offer him seclusion during the rigorous weeks of training.
In a recent column penned by Promoter Bob Arum and published by the Las Vegas Sun, Arum in regards to Pacquiao believing Baguio would be a quiet place for training, stated "Wrong."
Arum went on to add: "He (Pacquiao) was mobbed by thousands of fans upon his arrival and greeted by a full Philippine media contingent. It looks like Manny will be training amid the usual chaos he is familiar with at the Wild Card Gym where LA-based Filipinos attend his workouts."
Pacquaio is training for his November 14th battle at the MGM Grand Garden Arena against Miguel Cotto..
