The question these days amongst many fans of the sport is which boxer is the Pound for Pound King? The two viable names for the top spot are Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Both amazing fighters who truly deserve to be ranked at the top. But who is number one?

Two reliable sources have identical top 5's in their Pound for Pound Rankings. Our friends at The Ring Magazine as well as our friends from SecondsOut.com have identical lists.

Both Ring Magazine and SecondsOut rate Manny Pacquiao as thier number one Pound for Pound Boxer. Ring Magazine updates their list weekly, and as of October 4th, Pacquiao was still ranked number one. SecondsOut has their list published on their homepage. For the past while and as recent as today's date (October 6th), Pacquiao holds the top spot on SecondsOut.

On both lists, Floyd Mayweather Jr. holds the second spot.
