Something different is happening in Manny Pacquiao's training camp this time around. As Manny Pacquiao get set to take on Miguel Cotto on November 19th, a fight that will be shown live on HBO-PPV (check your local TV cable or satellite providers for details), rainy weather has stopped Pacquiao from doing roadwork. The solution hasn't been an easy one, but after 8 years of trying to get Pacquiao in a swimming pool, trainer Freddie Roach has finally gotten his man into the water.

Speaking to Dennis Principe of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, legendary trainer Freddie Roach spoke out on getting Pacquiao into the water, stating: "For the last eight years I've been trying to get Manny in the pool. With the rain here we finally got him in the pool."

It certainly wasn't an easy transition for Pacquiao, as Roach confessed that while learning to swim, Pacquiao sucked back a lot of chlorine. Luckily for Pacquiao, under the guidance of Roach, he is a quick learner. Roach stated: "He swallowed a lot of chlorine but he learned to swim quite quickly." Roach went on to add: "I think I actually liked it overall because when he started to work out he realized how hard it was."
