Everyone is talking about the potential showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. It is the fight everyone wants to see. In a recent interview with ESPN, HBO's Top Dog, Ross Greenburg discussed why Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. must meet inside the ring.
Greenburg tells ESPN that the match-up will be made because both fighters want it to happen. "The fight will get made because Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao want the fight to get done," said Greenburg, adding:
"Two fighters look in the mirror and try to establish themselves as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world."
On the importance of such a fight for both fighters, Greenburg stated: "This will define them as fighters. This will define them."
Let's hope the fight is announced soon. It's two top pound for pound boxers in their prime... it's guaranteed to be a barnburner! Lucky for all of us, Greenburg feels the same way.
