The official announcement for Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. could come as early as Monday. In an phone interview with Reuters, Bob Arum who promotes Manny Pacquiao was very optimistic that everything will come together and that an announcement will be made on Monday.
According to Arum, the official announcement should come on Monday after a venue to hold the mega event has been chosen.
So basically the fight is on folks! All they are waiting on is the venue.
Arum tells Reuters: "We don't want to do an official announcement until we know where the fight's going to be held." Arum went on to add that all week long they will be dealing with the issue of what venue to use.
