The legendary trainer Freddie Roach, who trains such notables as Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan, can add training a Vampire to his resume. Stephen Moyer who plays a Vampire named Bill Compton on HBO's smash TV Hit series"True Blood", is being trained by Roach. For those of you who have never seen an episode of "True Blood" on TV... you are missing out. HBO really delivers the goods with this one.

Recently quoted by Esquire magazine, the "True Blood" TV star spoke out on his love for boxing, which has a deep
family history for hm.

Moyer tells the publication: "My granddad was a boxer and a coach, so it was something very close to me - I used to train with him when I was young."

Moyer went on to add that he doesn't consider himself a fighter, but he loves Boxing and the fact that HBO, the Television company he works for puts on a lot of boxing. It is through his connection with HBO that Moyer has hooked up with Roach for training. "I'm not by any means a fighter, but I love it. HBO, which makes our show, does all of the boxing in America so I'm getting to train with Freddie Roach, who trains Amir Khan," stated Moyer.

Season 3 of "True Blood" starts on TV in the summer of 2010. Moyer is an amazing actor and feeds well off the energy of his co-star (and real life girlfriend), the talented and extremely beautiful, Anna Paquin. It's a hot show in which all the actors really are much more talented than most people on TV and in the Movies.

I'll be honest, aside from Boxing on TV... my favorite past time in front of the TV is "True Blood." The show really is that freaking good! And it makes me proud to know that Moyer and Paquin are fans of our sport.
