Ricky Hatton is feeling very confident with five weeks left until he faces Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. With a little more than half his training camp to go, Hatton is already claiming to be in the best fighting shape he has ever been in. Even better than his most impressive victory which came against Kostya Tszyu.

Hatton recently speaking to Sky Sports, discussed his upcoming fight, stating he was in great shape. Speaking in third person, Hatton stated to the publication: "This is the best Ricky Hatton. It is even better than the Ricky Hatton that beat Kostya Tszyu and that's my best win to date so far in my career, so I think a lot of people are going to be surprised come fight night."

Hatton doesn't think Pacquiao will be an easy task and is in no way under estimating the Filipino Superstar. "It's a tough fight, he's a southpaw," Hatton told Sky Sports, adding: "He's very, very quick, he's a decent puncher, but this is my division."

Along having a great camp and being ahead of schedule, Hatton claims he has become a much better fighter under the guidance of Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao takes place on May 2nd on HBO Pay Per View.
