Bob Arum is willing to consider a match-up with his fighter Manny Pacquiao against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Arum feels a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Jr. match-up could be negotiated, but it seems that Arum would plan to dictate the terms of the fight.

Speaking to reports, Arum said that right now the focus is on Ricky "Hitman" Hatton. Pacquiao faces Hatton at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2nd. In regards to talking with Pacquiao about a fight with
Mayweather Jr., Arum has not approached Pacquiao yet, explaining to reporters: "I haven't talked to Manny about it because we're concentrating on Hatton." Arum added to his statement that "Hatton is a tough fight."

The main question for Arum in regards to pitting Pacquiao against Mayweather Jr. is the question of what weight would the fight be held at. "The question with a Mayweather fight is at what weight? That's the big question. At 140, I don't think there's any problem making that fight," said Arum.

Arum went on to add that a catch-weight is possible but it's all mute until after Pacquiao faces Hatton. As for Mayweather Jr., he has yet to make his return to boxing official.
