Frank Warren lays into Ricky Hatton ahead of Manny Pacquiao Clash

British Promoter Frank Warren who use to promote Ricky Hatton doesn't think Hatton has what it takes to defeat Manny Pacquiao. Hatton is set to face Pacquiao on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Warren feels in recent fights Hatton has looked anything but impressive. Warren blames Hatton's lifestyle outside of the ring as part of the problem. "Looking at the other performances he's had, he's not really looked that great to me. That's basically because he hasn't lived the life of a professional boxer," said Warren to Sky Sports.

Hatton is known to balloon in weight between fights, and Warren feels it has caught upto Hatton. "You can't abuse your body like he has done over the years. Of course he's going to be in shape (vs. Pacquiao), but you've got to think about what has happened in between, that catches up with you."

Warren added that he feels Pacquiao will be too smart of a fighter for Hatton. Warren stated: "I just think Pacquiao will be too smart for him."
