Oscar De La Hoya on why Mosley will beat Pacquiao when He and Ricky Hatton Failed
By Johnny Benz, Benz Report for Doghouse Boxing (June 5, 2009)
Shane Mosley is too smart for Manny Pacquiao. These are the strong feelings coming from Oscar De La Hoya. In a recent interview conducted by Mike Rosenthal who represents The Ring Online, De La Hoya spoke on why Mosley would be successful where he and Hatton had failed.

De la Hoya tells the publication: “Mosley saw my fight against Pacquiao. He saw the Ricky Hatton fight. He wouldn’t commit the mistakes we both made." De La Hoya went on to add: "He won’t come
down in weight too much like I did. He won’t leave his head up there like Ricky did. He’s smart."

De La Hoya believes Mosley who fights for his company, Golden Boy Promotions, would be too much for Pacquiao and would crush him if the two ever met. De La Hoya also feels that Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach is too smart to pit his fighter against Molsey and would not want to risk is fighter’s pound-for-pound status "against a real champion like Mosley".
