Too much Sh!t for Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Shane Mosley and Boxers in General?
By Johnny Benz, Benz Report for Doghouse Boxing (June 10, 2009)
I am amazed at the some of the bad press guys like Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Shane Mosley (just to name a few) get these days. A quick search of headlines on many website illustrates just how much hate some of these guys have for great talent.

I can't hate any fighter that puts his life on the line for my enjoyment. Trust me when I say that every boxer who enters the ring, does so knowing the risks, and the risks can be deadly. It takes a special kind of
person to be able to enter that ring, and I'd venture to say that 99.9% of us do not have what it takes to put our lives on the line as fighters do. They are a special breed.

I can understand honest criticism of fighter, I just can't understand the blatant hate that some of these so-called writers lace their articles with. I won't name any writer or website, thats just not my style... but I am sure many of you reading this now, know exactly what I am talking about.

It would be nice for a change if these writers would take their emotions out of their articles. There is enough shit floating around on the net these days... why add more to it?

At the end of the day, we can never forget these men (and women too), big names and small names put their lives on the line each time the venture out to entertain us. The least they could do is show some more respect in their articles.

If Video killed the Radio Star... then you should pay attention and see what the
Internet did to great talent.
