By Johnny Benz, Benz Report for Doghouse Boxing (July 3, 2009)
Money issue rumors have dogged Floyd Mayweather Jr. over the last few months. In a recent report by the Associated Press, the publication states that public records show that Floyd Mayweather Jr. owes around a whopping $6.4 million (US) to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service).

According to the report out by the AP, Mayweather Jr. was hit by a lien back in October for $6.17 million over unpaid taxes from the 2007 tax season. The AP cites the Clark County Recorder in Las Vegas
as their source to the information.

The Ap further reports that for that same year (2007), records show that the New Jersey Superior Court judgment indicates that Mayweather Jr. owes $193,000 in state taxes there.
