Joining Smith’s fighters from the Baltimore Boxing & Fitness Gym, including Sam Crose and Courtney Feldhiem, are collegiate fighters from Maryland , Virginia , Washington DC , North Carolina and Dublin ,  Ireland .

“This is going to be an incredible event,” exclaimed Smith. “We’ve got fighters coming from all over to fight and this really shows you that boxing’s popularity is not dying. I’m especially excited to see what the fighters from Ireland have to offer. Not only will this be a treat for those in attendance, but this will be an extremely enjoyable event for all of the participants.”

The card came together when Smith and United States Intercollegiate Boxing Association (USIBA) president Luke Runion were discussing ways to host an event featuring fighters from various programs. Through hard work, many hours of logistical planning and scouting talent of each squad to secure competitive match-ups, the duo recognized the potential an event of this magnitude could have.

“Our teams are very excited about competing with Baltimore's squad ,” said Runion, who also coaches the team in Maryland and works closely with the team from DC. “Jake has a great reputation and we’d like to have more intercollegiate events in Baltimore especially being that our club program in Maryland is excited to be involved in all types of competitions.”
