Sampson Boxing and Manguita Promotions will return to the Dominican Republic on August 11 and 12 at the Coliseo Teo Cruz in Santo Domingo with history-making back-to-back shows, each featuring IBF World Title fights.

On August 11, Santo Domingo's hometown hero Katy Pamela "La Super Baby" Wilson (15-1, 9 KOs) will make the first defense of her IBF Female Super Bantamweight Championship against mandatory challenger Crystal Hoy (5-4-3, 2 KOs) of Las Vegas via the Philippines.

The popular 21-year-old Wilson won her title last March against well-respected multiple world champion Ada Velez.

Also featured that night will be an important "All Dominican Republic" junior welterweight matchup, as established top contender Victor "Mermelada" Cayo (28-3, 20 Kos) of Santo Domingo will face unbeaten Julio "La Para" De Jesus (15-0, 14 KOs) of San Francisco de Macoris for the Vacant IBF Caribbean title.

On the undercard, former world champion Roberto "La Arana" Vasquez (31-5, 21 KOs) will meet the Dominican Republic's Geysi Lorenzo (11-3, 2 Kos) in a super bantamweight 10-rounder.

Four more bouts are scheduled featuring Dominican featherweight Braulio "El Chavo" Rodriguez (7-0, 7 KOs), Dominican lightweight Argenis "El Caballo" Lopez (14-0, 3 KOs), Dominican lightweight Ranses Payano (10-1, 5 KOs) and Santo Domingo's own former women's super-bantamweight world champion Marilyn "La Cachorrita" Hernandez (21-8, 12 KOs) in separate bouts.

The following night in the same venue, IBF Female Featherweight World Champion Daihana Santana (29-6, 13 KOs) will defend her title against mandatory challenger Helen Joseph (11-1-1, 6 KOs) of Nigeria.

In the main supporting bout, the Dominican Republic's Juan Carlos "Merengue" Abreu (10-0, 9 KOs) will face Bayamon, Puerto Rico's John Nater (9-2, 8 KOs) for the Vacant IBF Youth World Junior Welterweight Title.

Also appearing on this night's show will be popular Dominican super bantamweight prospect Jonathan Guzman (5-0, 5 KOs), Panamanian light middleweight Azael "Turbo" Cosio (14-1-2, 11 KOs), Dominican light welterweight veteran Francisco "El Ahogado" Lorenzo (38-11, 17 KOS), Dominican super featherweight Angel "El Gato" Luna (6-0, 4 KOs) and Dominican bantamweight Ruben Vicente (6-3, 2 KOs).

"I am proud to be bringing these historic shows to the Dominican," said event promoter Sampson Lewkowicz. "This country has a wave of top young talent on the way up; Javier Fortuna was only the beginning. It has been my pleasure to work with Manguita Promotions to develop so many future champions."
