The
younger brother of Friday's headliner, 18-year-old junior featherweight
Ryan Caballero will make his professional debut against Los Angeles'
Manuel Machorro (0-6-1) in a four round matchup. A boxer since the age
of eight, Caballero is a former Junior Olympic and Ringside World
champion. He'll look to follow in his brother's footsteps as a pro
beginning this Friday night.
A
decorated amateur boxer who won the 2011 United States National
Championship and the 2009 PAL National title, 21-year old Christopher
Pearson (7-0, 4 KO's) is one of those intriguing talents you only see
once in a great while. A professional since November of 2011, Pearson
has stayed busy with three fights in 2012 already. Now seeking his
eighth win, the Trotwood, Ohio native will face Salt Lake City, Utah's
Christian Nava (2-1-1) in a six round junior middleweight fight.
In
a six round middleweight matchup, Coachella's Angel Osuna (9-3-1, 5
KO's) attempts to stretch his five-fight winning streak to six when he
meets Las Vegas' Yosmani Abreu (3-3-1).
Los
Angeles junior lightweight standout Santiago Guevara (3-0, 1 KO) is
back in action this week to take on Lake Dallas, Texas' Wilbert Mitchell
(1-5) in a four round battle and opening up the event in a four round
fight will be heavyweights Gerald Washington (1-0, 1 KO) of Vallejo and
Gary Cobia (0-1) of Ogden, Utah.
