MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 24, 2014) -- Veteran sports columnist Jon Saraceno will join Thrive Sports to offer analysis and commentary on the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. Saraceno, who worked for USA Today for three decades before leaving last year, has chronicled four Olympics, including the last Winter Games held in the U.S. in Salt Lake City in 2002. He will work alongside Thrive Sports Managing Editor Sean Jensen, a 16-year veteran NFL reporter.

“I could not be more thrilled and privileged to join Thrive Sports for its ambitious coverage of the Olympic games in Sochi,” said Saraceno. “I look forward to giving my ‘take’ on the most important aspects of the Olympics.”

“Thrive Sports is thrilled to welcome esteemed columnist Jon Saraceno, the distinctive and definitive voice of USA Today’s sports section for 25 years,” said Thrive Sports president Phil Nelson. “Saraceno will provide his unique view into the athletes, teams and competitions surrounding the Games.”
