Hungarian Southpaw-puncher Sandor Micsko will fight compatriot and fellow Budapest resident Zoltan Sera for the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) International Super Welterweight title on March 22 at the Sportpalast in Bielefeld, Germany.
Micsko, 22-4-2 (16), is a former Hungarian Champion at Middleweight and Super Middleweight, as well as a former WBF International Champion at Middleweight, and believes that Super Welterweight is his best weight and the division where he at twenty-seven years of age will make his biggest statements.
In Zoltan Sera, 13-1 (9), he will face the reigning Hungarian Middleweight title-holder, who is also coming down in weight for the opportunity to win the WBF title. The only defeat on the record of Sera (28) was in a European title fight against the undefeated Joe Selkirk last December, and he has since rebounded with a stoppage victory this past January.
On the same show, former two-time WBF world title-challenger Renata Domsodi (35) will also face a fellow Hungarian, when she squares off with undefeated Alexandra Vlajk (34) for the vacant WBF Womens International Bantamweight crown.
11-4 (5) Domsodi, who twice valiantly challenged Ramona Kuehne for the Super Featherweight world championship, is hoping to pave the way towards a shot at world glory at the lower weight, but should be in with a tough challenge from Vlajk, 5-0 (1).
The World Boxing Federation Championship doubleheader in Bielefeld, Germany on March 22, supported by a full undercard, will be promoted by Profibox-Promotion.
