WHAT: Oscar De La Hoya Foundation will host its 18th Annual Turkey
Giveaway on Saturday, November 22. De La Hoya will be joined by star fighters Randy Caballero, Hugo Centeno Jr., Gabriel Rosado, Joseph Diaz Jr., Julian Ramirez and Diego De La Hoya, as they help distribute hundreds of turkeys, fixings and other products to the East Los Angeles community.
*Note: The families receiving the turkey dinner donations have been pre-selected.

FACTS:
In 1995, boxing superstar Oscar De La Hoya started his namesake Foundation to help improve the quality of life for the community in his hometown of East Los Angeles. Today, with the help many partners, the Foundation serves thousands of people annually. The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation supports the Oscar De La Hoya Ánimo Charter High School, the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center and the Oscar De La Hoya Labor and Delivery Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (both located at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles) as well as numerous after school programs that help guide young people toward leading positive lives and away from the circumstances of gang violence, juvenile delinquency and substance abuse.
