Golden Boy Promotions arrange a clash against Sergio Martinez for May 5
th,2013.
Canelo said De La Hoya has committed himself to starting negotiations.
“I have spoken with GBP and we have agreed that my next fight will be
on May 5. My first option is "Maravilla" Martinez,” stressed Canelo, who
successfully defended his WBC title against Josesito Lopez recently.
