Light welterweight contender Zahir Raheem scored a routine fourth round stoppage win over veteran former world title challenger Justin Juuko at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday night.
As soon as the bout was announced the general feeling was Ugandan born Juuko was well past his sell by date and that proved to be the case as Raheem pretty much landed his punches at will against a static target. Juuko was in severe trouble in the third round but the bell saved him
Raheem opened up in the fourth with a series of unanswered punches until Juuko’s trainer threw in the towel.
Raheem improves to 33-3-(20) while Juuko, who once shared the ring with Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr, falls to 45-12-1,-(30).
