Tonight a couple of big boys that are UFC heroes will lock horns in the octagon when Tito Ortiz faces Forrest Griffin in UFC 106. This fight will be a rematch as these two met in 2006 with Ortiz winning a unanimous decision as a -400 favorite.

In this bout Ortiz opened as the UFC betting favorite at -125 but was quickly bet against which has now made him a +110 underdog. The UFC 106: Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin Betting Line has Griffin as a -145 favorite.

The big swing in the UFC betting odds has both sharp and public money backing Ortiz. The UFC fans just want to see the villian Ortiz lose while the “wise guys” feel that Tito is past his prime.

Griffin is coming off a devastating 1st round KO loss to Anderson Silva as a +260 underdog and some wonder if his confidence has been shaken. Ortiz has been inactive for 18 months and lost his last bout to Lyoto Machida as a +160 underdog. Over 70% of the UFC betting action has been wagered on Ortiz.
