Thompson Boxing Promotions is pleased to congratulate WBC/WBO Junior Welterweight Champion Timothy Bradley, NABF Light Welterweight Champion Josesito Lopez and Julio Diaz on their hard earned victories. On January 29 Palm Spring's Undefeated WBC/WBO Junior Welterweight Champion Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley and then WBC Super Lightweight Champion Devon Alexander "The Great" met in the ring for the highly promoted WBC/WBO World Championship Unification Match at The Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan.

Bradley, who defended his WBO junior welterweight title and took Alexander's WBC belt winning by unanimous technical decision after the fight was stopped in the 10th round due to an accidental head-butt, moved a step closer toward a megafight that could potentially make him a boxing superstar.

When asked about what is in store for his future, Bradley had this to say: "I'm not calling anyone out after the fight. I'd like to do something different. I'd like to hear from the fans on who THEY want me to fight next."

In other victory news, Coachella Valley's former two-time lightweight world champion Julio Diaz (38-6, 27 KOs) scored an eighth round TKO over Pavel Miranda (16-7,-1, 8 KOs). The aggressive Diaz knocked Miranda down twice in 8th leaving Referee Gerard White no choice but to end the fight because the injured was unable to defend himself.

To complete the winning streak, just one day earlier as the co-feature of Arreola-Abell ESPN "Friday Night Fights", WBC #8, IBF #10 Junior Welterweight Contender Josesito Lopez (29-3, 17 KOs) scored a seventh round KO over previously unbeaten Jr welterweight Mike Dallas Jr (17-1-1, 7 KOs) in a clash for the NABF belt.

Lopez overcame vertical cut from an unintentional headbutt and steadily broke down Dallas with a left hook followed by a quick flurry, referee Raul Caiz Jr. to stop the fight.

Commented Lopez, "It was a tough fight just like we expected. He was fast, he was skilled. I went through the tough storm but now I'm here with the victory," said Lopez. "I put everything on the line and I managed to stay focused."
