Queensbury, NY – TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions has signed Former Three-Time Champion DownTown Leona Brown to a promotional contract. Brown, who resides in Wappingers Falls, New York currently, holds a 13-17 (5 KOs) record. Her last fight was a controversial decision loss to Danielle Bouchard in Canada.

“Leona has always been brought in as an opponent. Winning three world titles when you are supposed to lose is what has interested me. I see potential with DownTown and my main goal is to get her in a position for a shot at a Major World Title so she can retire as a World Champion. To be honest, I doubt if any of the current 118lb Champions would be brave enough to even fight her”, stated Bill Calogero, president of TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions. He added, “We want to put her in a position where they will have no choice BUT to fight her. They can all run, but they can’t hide forever! When she is the number one contender across the board, someone will HAVE to step up to the plate.”

“I am so excited to possibly have the opportunity to retire as a World Champion. It has renewed my interest in boxing and I have begun training. I am ready to do whatever Bill feels is necessary to get me the shot I deserve. I am 100% dedicated and focused on becoming a four-time World Champion”, Brown said from her home in Wappingers Falls.

TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions has been actively seeking young boxers that have six pro fights or less, just turned pro, wants to turn pro, or have been mis-handled and mis-guided. Anyone interested should contact Bill Calogero directly either via email at TheDailySports@Frontiernet.net or by phone at (518) 656 3266.
