Rob Calloway quickly returning to the ring

“All-American Prizefighter” Rob Calloway coming off of an impressive first round knockout of Benito Fernandez on the All Heavyweight Slug Out 2 promotion in Fort Smith, Arkansas will quickly return to the ring Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.

The Bouts promoted by Holden Productions, will appear on ESPN2 Wednesday Night Fights presented by Aqua Velva. The two scheduled television bouts will be Heavyweights Rob “All-American Prizefighter” Calloway 62-6-1 47 KOs versus Jameel “Big Time” McCline 35-6-3 22 KOs and Super-Middleweights Allan “Sweetness” Green 19-0 13 KOs versus former Contender Star Anthony “ The Bullet ” Bonsante 26-7-3 15 KOs in 10 round bouts, the first television swing bout will be Heavyweights J.D. “The Natural” Chapman 21-0 19 KOs versus Matt “Hurricane” Hicks 7-0 7 KOs which will be a 6 round bout.

Calloway’s opponent Jameel “Big Time” McCline hails from Harlem, NY and will have the size advantage as he stands at 6 feet 6 inches and should step into the ring at around 270 pounds. McCline who is a former WBC Heavyweight Champion has fought for the WBO World Heavyweight Title going 10 rounds against Wladimir Klitschko and the IBF World Heavyweight Title losing a split decision in 12 rounds against world champion Chris Byrd. He boasts impressive wins against, Cedric Boswell 21-0, Shannon Briggs 36-3-1, Lance Whitaker 23-1, Michael Grant 31-1 and Alfred Cole 31-7-2. McCline is coming off of 3 wins with one being a common opponent of Calloway, Andy “Sandman” Sample. Calloway knocked out Sample in 2 rounds October 2004 and McCline knocked him out in 1 round in November 2005.
