Mayorga is talking smack in spanish when the ref asks if they have any questions, ala Tarver/Jones II. Apparently he told DLH that he is coming in at 172lbs. They dont touch gloves. A

ROUND 1-

Wow what a first round. Mayorga comes out swinging hard right and left hooks looking to take Oscar out early. DLH works the jab to keep Mayorga back and he ducks and dodges the wild shots. DLH HITS MAYORGA WITH A RIGHT CROSS/LEFT HOOK COMBO AND MAYORGA IS DOWN 80 SECONDS IN!!! Mayorga tries to come on but DLH hits him with another left hook and Mayorga is rocked. He clinches and absorbs another DLH combo for the end of the round. Mayorga tried to throw wild body shots but they didnt work to close the round. 20 month layoff my @ss.

10-8 Round for DLH.

ROUND 2-

DLH starts out by jabbing Mayorga like Mayweather Sr. said to do. Mayorga is getting outgunned worser than against Tito. Mayorga is throwing wild shots but DLH is easily picking them apart with his gloves. DLH is able to hit him with short punches very well. DLH hit him with a short right, left hook, and rocked him with a continued combo.

DLH wins round 2.

ROUND 3-

DLH isnt using the jab as much as he should be, but he is still handling Mayorga. Mayorga's punch out put is dropping as DLH has his way with him. DLH lands a left uppercut in the middle of the round that rocks Mayorga and follows up with a combo. Mayorga then caught DLH at the end of the round with a right uppercut and rocks DLH a bit but fails to capitalize. DLH starts to work the jab, straight right at the end of the round.

DLH wins the 3rd round

ROUND 4-

DLH is finding different ways to set up the left hook. Mayorga's only weapon appears to be the overhand right that DLH is easily blocking. DLH clinches with Mayorga and lands to left hooks to the body. Mayorga lands a straight right to the face, but then gets a few combo's to end the round.

DLH wins the 4rth round

ROUND 5-

DLH isnt connecting as much as he used to, but it is because Mayorga isnt charging DLH like he did before. DLH is still landing the left hook. Oscar is using the jab more and more effectively. It is what Floyd Sr. wants to see. DLH combo's on Mayorga with jab, left hook combo's several times during the round. Mayorga ends the round pushing DLH into the corner and rabbit punches him several times for a warnging.

DLH wins the 5th

ROUND 6-

Mayorga is fighting more cautiously than before because Oscar's hands are too fast. DLH is starting to work the body, Mayorga starts to mock him and DLH hits him with a 4 punch combo to the body and Mayorga starts to fall and takes a left hand on the way down. Mayorga gets up....starts to brawl against the ropes against DLH and DLH starts to beat on Mayorga and Mayorga is taking too many shots and the referee stops it as Mayorga goes down. DLH WINS BY 6TH ROUND TKO!!!!

compubox. Mayorga lands 66 punches, DLH lands 116.

POST FIGHT- DLH says this is like a top 5 victory for him after what Mayorga said about his family, DLH said Mayorga was apart of his comeback plan because Mayorga would be motivated. He said he hasnt been truly motivated like he was against Mayorga for the Vargas fight. DLH said the first round knockdown was to tell Mayorga that he was going to stand up to the bully. DLH said Mayorga was cringing at his punches. DLH says he forgives Mayorga for what he said as professional's. Mayorga told him that he has what it takes.

DLH says he has to wait and think about what he is going to do, whether or not he wants to fight in September.

Merchant says what is his reaction to Floyd Sr. saying he wouldnt have corner him against Floyd.

DLH said he would have to sit down and talk about it with everyone. He also says he will figure out where he will go and who brings him the most glory.

Mayorga refused to speak to HBO.

The announcers also talk about DLH fighting in September, Stewart thinks its the perfect way to go out for him but that DLH is a warrior and will return. Lampley/Merchant say that DLH will return for the $20-$30M against possible foes-Felix Trinidad, Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton

They hype Hatton and call him a bully that knows how to fight. They say he is an exciting fighter and his fight next week is tough and going to be hard and rough next week. They say Hatton has what it takes to become big in the US. They also say that the US is different from Manchester.

They say Hatton would be an interesting option against DLH and Oscar has all different kinds of options on his hands.
