Australia- A crowd of more than 30,000 witnessed Anthony Mundine vs. Danny Green go the distance last night. The end result firmly established Anthony Mundine as "The Man".

Mundine won a unanimous points decision.

In the fourth round, Mundine would strike first blood as Green started bleeding from the face. The longer the fight went on, the stronger Mundine looked.

By the later rounds, Mundine turned it up a notch as it seemed a tiring Green's best round were behind him.

To the delight of the crowd on hand, give Green credit for delivering as much action as he could, but in the end it was Mundine's night. Even Mundine took note of Green and squashed their differences saying after the fight, "I just told him all the stuff I said in the past, lets leave it in the past. I respect you as a fighter, as a man. You left your heart and courage in the ring." Mundine continued, "And he said to me, you have to know where I stand, I respect you as well. He (Green) showed a lot of effort and courage. His family, his friends and his fans should be very proud of him."

Green. comments after the fight were equally as gracious. "He is a great fighter, he was the superior man last night," Green said. "I tip my hat to the way Mundine and his camp was very humble and gracious in a great victory.

"We've had a very, very strong sporting rivalry.

"I never met Anthony Mundine until last night inside the boxing ring. So, personally it's hard to comment on the guy, we had a few words after the fight.

"I dare say we'll meet in the future and the first thing I'll do is put my hand out and shake his hand and I'm sure he'll reciprocate that action."
