The Champ, Antonio Tarver hits the road tonight in search of respect when he faces Bernard Hopkins. Tonight on HBO-PPV, Tarver is ready and more than willing to fight one of the most dangerous fighter's in the game, Bernard Hopkins. Tarver makes it clear he is fighting for his "Respect."

In a coulmn by Franklin McNeil of The Star-Ledger, Tarver is quoted slightly dissing Jose Luis Castillo and speaks about his due respect.

Tarver tells The Star-Ledger: "People don't know how great I am. They don't know and they don't recognize it, brother. And they won't realize it until it's over with. It drives me. Damn right. It drives me.

Tarver added: "Respect? I can't control that. It's for the people to decide. But you have guys like Jose Luis Castillo on pound-for-pound lists and he can't even make weight. That's disrespectful to me, a guy who's worked hard and has beaten every man who's stepped in the ring with me. But you can't find me anywhere on the pound-for-pound lists. And I'm one of the biggest stars in the game today. It's ridiculous."
