Johnson says Calzaghe should be called "Chicken Joe"

Glen Johnson holds back no punches when discussing Joe Calzaghe. According to media reports, Johnson was close to facing Calzaghe this July 8th. That date however was called off when Calzaghe injured his left hand during training.

None of this sits well with Glen Johnson.

Johnson is quoted today by the BBC Sport: "Joe has a reputation among boxers that I wouldn't want and that's being someone who keeps ducking the big fights. Given Joe Calzaghe's tarnished reputation, the big-name US fighters, who could earn Joe a lot of money, like myself, Tarver and Hopkins don't take him seriously.

Johnson added to the BBC Sport: "I don't know why he keeps pulling out but the common theme seems to be the guy doesn't have any heart. He is scared of the tough guys. He should have a new nickname, his nickname should be chicken Joe."
