Bernard Hopkins made an impressive showing by thoroughly boxing circles around Antonio Tarver on Saturday Night at the Boardwalk Hall in A.C. Hopkins retires as champ. After his domination of the skillful and hard hitting Tarver, Hopkins was posed the question by Larry Merchant if this was really retirment for the Champ, or if Hopkins would possibly continue? Would he fight again for crazy amounts of Money....like $20 million?

Hopkins responded: "Hey, I might come out of my grave for that kind of money."

All joking aside though, Hopkins made it pretty clear at the post fight press conference that he is happy riding off into the sunset.

Hopkins told the media at the post fight conference: "I'm done. There's nothing else to do. I've heard some people say, 'What about this? What about that?' Let's keep it real, y'all. I don't need to risk anything else. What am I gonna do, go to cruiser? Heavyweight? There's nothing else to do.

Hopkins added: "I want to be able to see my daughter. I want to be able to know who her teachers are, because I'm not home half the time. I'm in camp. So now family is more important than boxing. I'm humbled but I'm proud that I got a chance to go out on top. How many fighters go out on top?"
