£200,000 Side Gambling Bet by Calzaghe

£200,000 is a gambling bet that Joe Calzaghe is willing to take. That is the amount of Money Calzaghe is prepared to lay down in a Gambling Bet with Glen Johnson. Calzaghe feels it is a safe bet for his money.

Last week in an interview conducted in the Wales on Sunday, Johnson called called Calzaghe a "Chicken" for pulling out of a fight between the two that was set for July 8 at the Millennium Stadium. Calzaghe had injured himself in training, but Johnson feels that is just an excuse to get out of the match.

In regards to the Chicken comment Calzaghe hits back and tells Andy Rose, Wales on Sunday: "Glen Johnson means nothing to me. He is a good journey man fighter who has done well in a very, very, very poor division.

Calzaghe added: "There is no truth to me not wanting to fight him, I would love to fight the guy and if we do I will put down a £200,000 side bet with him that I will knock him out. Let's see if he puts his money where his mouth is."
