ESPN Classic has a brand new nightly signature series entitled ‘Classic Now.’ The show is hosted by Josh Elliott and examines the biggest sports stories, putting them in perspective and highlighting historical relevance and context.
Wednesday’s show will discuss the various fighters who have had physical altercations with one another outside the ring.
One of the guests will be former Mike Tyson trainer, Kevin Rooney, who will address the events which surrounded the 1988 Harlem street fight between Tyson and Mitch ‘Blood’ Green. Other topics include the street brawl between Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbick.
The show will be aired at 7 pm (with a replay at 11 pm) and also features Teddy Atlas and boxing scribe Wally Matthews.
