Mayweather disses Mosley, as Mayweather Himself Ducks Margarito
DHB (July 17, 2006)
In an interview with the New York Times, Floyd Mayweather Jr. dissed Shane Mosley declaring that he is tired of chasing Mosley who has been ducking him for ten years. However Mayweather doesn't feel that he is ducking Antonio Margarito.
Mayweather is quoted in The New York Times saying: "He has earned the right to fight me. Mosley’s been ducking me for 10 years now. I’ve been chasing Shane Mosley forever. I can’t keep chasing the guy. I just want to beat the best fighters out there. People talk about me fighting Antonio Margarito next. Antonio Margarito is not a
household name. It’s about business. We need guys who can generate pay-per-view numbers.
Mayweather says its not Shane who is the boss, but Shane's wife, telling The New York Times: “I got to talk to Jin (Shane's wife), she runs the show. We can make the fight happen. She’s the boss of their household. I’m the boss of my household."
