Another Mike Tyson Foe in trouble with the Law - "Buster" Douglas
DHB (July 19, 2006)
According to media reports, former heavyweight champion James "Buster" Douglas is facing a misdemeanor complicity charge. Court records indicate Buster allowed his brother to apply for a motorcycle license using his name and identification.

According to Franklin County Municipal Court's Web site, Buster's brother, William Douglas III, has been charged with a misdemeanor count of falsification. The charge accuses William Douglas, 36, of identifying himself as his 46-year-old
brother. William used his brother's driver's license and Social Security card to obtain a motorcycle permit. Investigators say that on June 8, as Buster Douglas waited in a car outside a BMV office in Columbus, his brother went inside and got a license for him. A clerk challenged William Douglas' identity.

Buster and William appeared in court on Tuesday requesting a continuance in order to to hire a lawyer. They were ordered by the Court to return Aug. 1

Buster Douglas became famous after winning the heavyweight title from Mike Tyson on Feb. 10, 1990, in Tokyo.
