UFC: Chuck Liddell disses Tito Ortiz
By DHB (Aug 26, 2006)
Tonight at UFC 62, Chuck Liddell, defend his 205-pound title in a much anticipated rematch against Renato Sobral. UFC 62 will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
If Chuck Liddell wins tonight, a possible oppenent for him next could be the red-hot Tito Ortiz. These days Ortiz's popularity in the UFC is running high, but Liddell is not phased one bit by it.
In a recent interview conducted by David Doyle, FOXSports, Liddell had some choice words for Ortiz, dissing Ortiz for
not wanting to fight him and beating his ass when he finally did.
Liddell tells the Fox Network: "Yeah, Tito's running his mouth again. That ain't news. He can talk all he wants. That's all he does is run his mouth. He doesn't even want to fight me."
Liddell added: "It took me years to get him in the octagon last time and I beat his ass. He might fight me if they offer him so much money he can't say no, but he doesn't really want to step into the octagon with me."
