"I never really said it was an easy fight, but a winable fight for Pacquiao. I'm not saying an easy fight because he is young and competitive, but a a winable fight for us for sure," says legendary trainer Roach in regards to Manny Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri.
Regarding the friendship that Pacquiao and Algieri have respectfully given one another during the press tour, Roach feels it is not a factor, stating: "You know, that always happens. I mean, Ricky Hatton was a good guy, we played darts with him and socialized with him and you saw what happened to him."

Roach tells about some of the fun smack talk he has been having with Algieri and his camp: "He (Algieri) is hitting baseballs yesterday and he says he 'goes both ways'; to which I replied, 'I heard that'" .
In regards to who Roach would like to see Pacquiao face next, Roach tells Rahim: "Danny Garcia is my number one choice right now. I wish we were fighting him today." (This comes at around 6:45 of the video). When Rahim asks Roach why he feels Garcia is a good match for Pacquiao, Roach states: "Because he comes to fight! Manny loves when people come to fight. He's our favorite style of fighter to face. Manny likes when the guys come (press the action) and he will come."
Roach also talks about Floyd Mayweather and the rumors that Alex Ariza is working with them.
Roach also updates on Ruslan Provodnikov and Miguel Cotto, plus talks Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Cotto, as well as his prediction on Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana 2.
Regarding a fight with Mayweather: "Just say you want to fight us once!" says Roach who goes on to joke: "And we got 50 Cent on ourside
of course." Roach further states: "Mayweather has never really shown that he wants to fight Manny."
